PRE-PURCHASE BIKE FIT
BUY THE RIGHT BIKE AT THE FIRST TIME
Interview & Riding Profile
Every session starts by understanding the rider.
We discuss your cycling background, riding habits, goals, flexibility limitations, injury history, discipline focus, and expectations from the new bike. This allows us to understand not only what fits your body, but also what fits your riding style and long-term goals.
Choosing a new bike can be overwhelming. Geometry, sizing, handlebar width, crank length, stem length, saddle shape, and frame compatibility all play a major role in how comfortable, efficient, and sustainable your riding experience will be.
Our Pre-Purchase Bike Fit service is designed to eliminate guesswork and help you make the right investment before buying your next bike.
Whether you are considering a road bike, triathlon bike, gravel bike, or performance-oriented setup, we help you identify the most suitable configuration for your body, goals, and riding style.
Physical Assessment
As with all of our fitting services, we begin with a detailed physical assessment.
We evaluate mobility, stability, posture, asymmetries, movement restrictions, and potential limitations that may influence your riding position and bike selection.
Understanding the rider’s body is essential before recommending a frame geometry or component combination.
Saddle Pressure Mapping
Comfort starts at the foundation.
We use saddle pressure mapping technology to analyze pressure distribution, sitting stability, pelvic support, and saddle interaction. This helps us determine the most appropriate saddle shape and width based on your anatomy and riding posture.
The goal is not simply comfort — but sustainable comfort with efficient support.
Performance & Pedaling Analysis
During the session, we also analyze key performance metrics to optimize rider efficiency and balance.
This includes:
Left/right power balance
Pedal power phase analysis
Pedaling efficiency
Stability and symmetry evaluation
These insights help us fine-tune the setup to create a position that is not only comfortable, but also biomechanically efficient and performance-oriented.
Dynamic Positioning on the Purely Custom Fit Bike
All measurements are taken dynamically on our Purely Custom Fit Bike, allowing us to simulate different bike geometries and component combinations without making any changes to your existing bike.
This enables us to test and optimize multiple variables in real time, including:
Frame size and geometry
Handlebar width
Stem length and cockpit setup
Crank length
Saddle selection and positioning
Stack and reach requirements
Rather than relying on assumptions, we build your ideal riding position before you purchase the bike.
